Famous One-Pot Fettuccine Alfredo

Alfredo.jpg

Ingredients

  • 500 g of fettuccine noodles

  • 2 bullion cubes

  • 3 cups water

  • 3 cups milk (I use almond milk, but you do you)

  • 1 cup cream (I use table cream, but again, you do you)

  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp onion powder

  • Fresh ground pepper to taste

  • Fresh or dried parsley to garnish

Instructions

  • In a large pot on medium heat, add water, milk and bullion cubes and dry pasta

  • Bring to a boil and stir often to ensure the noodles don’t stick to the bottom

  • After boiling for ~5 minutes, add cream

  • Cook to just over al dente, then stir in parmesan cheese, garlic & onion powder and pepper

    • At this point, it should be quite saucy. Feel free to add a bit more milk or cream if you feel it’s necessary. The pasta will continue to soak up the sauce while it cools, so a saucier sauce is better—especially for leftovers :P

  • Move to your favourite bowl and garnish with parsley!
